The WarmLine Family Resource Center is a place where families can turn when they discover that their child has a special need or disability. We offer a toll-free telephone resource network that gives you access to a full spectrum of services, information, referral and support. Through a system of parent-to-parent volunteers, we can put parents in touch with other parents “who have been there…” and provide resources (books, articles, videos, etc.) regarding a variety of conditions, illnesses, educational options and support.

There is no charge and no referral needed. Call us at 916-455-9500 or send an email. Para servicios en Espanol, usted puede llamar al 916-922-1490 o ir a Informacion en Espanol.

Workshops and trainings include early intervention, IEP training.

WarmLine Family Resource Center, in partnership with UC Davis MIND Institute and Family SOUP, is enrolling participants for Mind the Gap program.

  • Participants must have a child birth to 8 years old with a recent diagnosis and live in Sacramento or Yolo county.
  • The Mind the Gap program offers 12 flexible peer coaching sessions (about 10 hours total) to help families learn about their child’s needs and diagnosis, how to get connected with services, and reach their individualized goals.
  • WarmLine’s Peer Navigators are trained in the Mind the Gap program and bring their own expertise as parents of children with disabilities.
