The City of Watsonville’s recreation programs are attended most often by children and seniors, however all persons are welcome. Participation would be a mainstreaming experience for those who have developmental special needs. These needs should be discussed with the recreation registration staff before enrollment.

Youth programs:

Day camps are held during the summer. Activities include games, crafts, cooking and special events. Extended hours are available. This is for ages 6-12 years. Special tours and trips are sometimes available.

City of Watsonville Nature Center

Do you need to keep the kids busy and save some money? Come by our museum. It’s free! We have a kids’ discovery corner with animal crafts, games, books and many other fun activities. Come see our local animals and take a tour of our wetlands. Need information about water conservation, city rebates, recycling or how to get involved in keeping Watsonville beautiful and clean? Come and check us out, we have it all!
