Senior Day Services

Yu-Ai Kai’s Senior Day Services program offers dependent older adults, a warm, safe and encouraging environment. Our friendly and professional staff provides:

  • Social interaction
  • Assortment of stimulating, structured activities including music, games, art
  • Gentle exercise
  • Wellness activities, health screening
  • Nutritious snacks and hot lunch, served in the 2nd floor lunch room.

For families caring for a dependent older relative, can feel confident that their loved one is being cared for in a safe and nurturing setting. This may allow caregivers to take a much needed break from caregiving, as well as time to work or take care of other business. The program is open Monday-Friday, from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm, with some exceptions (holidays, agency events). Staff in the Senior Day Services program are bilingual (Japanese/English).

For more information about the program, how to enroll, billing, etc., please contact Maria Solis, Social Services Administrator (English) or Kumiko Unno, Senior Day Care Coordinator (Japanese). Please call if you have any questions about your loved one’s ability to participate. (408) 294-2505.
