iD Tech Camps offers summer computer camps for kids and teens (ages 7-17) at 60 universities in the United States. We also offer additional teen academies (ages 13-18) including the iD Gaming Academy, iD Visual Arts Academy, and the iD Programming Academy.

Our CA summer camps held in the San Francisco Bay area, Los Angeles area, Orange County area, Santa Barbara area and San Diego area allow students to experience real campus life at a prestigious university – day camp students study in computer labs, eat in university dining halls and may take campus tours. Overnight campers live in college dorms. Our academic camps have a maximum of 8 students per instructor and customized curriculum for beginner to advanced learners. iD’s unique summer camps offer courses that vary from creating video games and producing digital movies to designing web pages and learning programming and robotics.

What if my student needs an aide at camp?

If your student requires an aide at school, you must ensure that an aide accompanies your student at camp.

The aide must be over the age of 18 and may not be the parent, guardian, or an immediate family member. Any aide attending camp with a student must achieve a favorable result on a criminal background check.

Can you accommodate students with intellectual disabilities?

We have had many students with intellectual disabilities attend our camps in the past, and they typically do well in our programs.

While our program is not specifically designed for students with intellectual disabilities, our instructors are trained to handle special circumstances to a limited extent. We have found that if students are able to function without an aide at school, they generally do very well at camp. If your student does require an aide at school, you must ensure that an aide accompanies your student to camp.

Local locations include: San Jose State University, Palo Alto High School, Santa Clara University, West Valley College.
