Vision in children is exceptionally important. It helps them learn hand eye coordination and read the blackboard. Their depth perception and vision also helps them learn how to walk without running into walls and other objects, and it plays a part in how they develop.
Common Vision Problems in Children
  • Astigmatism
  • Double Vision
  • Eye Coordination Problems
  • Farsightedness
  • Lazy Eye
  • Nearsightedness
  • Uneven Focus
  • Wandering Eye

Symptoms of Vision Problems in Children

Babies, toddlers and young children are not likely to state to their parents that they cannot see. To them, what they see may seem normal, even if it is blurry. School age children may state that they cannot read the blackboard or that they cannot read the words in their textbooks, and parents should take such complaints very seriously.
