WestEd works with educators, policymakers, and service providers to build state and local capacity to improve outcomes for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Our staff provide technical assistance to state departments of education and professional development for early intervention and district personnel, conduct rigorous research and program evaluation, and develop resources. Our signature initiative, the National Center for Systemic Improvement, supports districts and states in transforming their systems to improve developmental and academic outcomes for infants, toddlers, children, and youth with disabilities.
