Ann is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been working in the field of counseling for over ten years. She has a Master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy and Art Therapy from Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, California. Ann has extensive experience counseling individuals, couples and children in the areas of sexual and physical abuse, abandonment, adult and child anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders [OCD], Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder [ADHD], Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder [PTSD], parent education, foster care and adoption. She has been a consecrated deaconess for over 25 years, is a member of the Lutheran Deaconess Association and the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Ann has been married for over 25 years and has three children.

Andrea “Ann” Arnold, MFT, has been practicing as a therapist since 1997.  In that time she has worked in a variety of agency settings and is now in full time private practice.  While Ann sees a wide variety of people, she has a few primary areas of interest: adults who were adopted, parents and couples.  Her primary modes of treatment are cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic, using art therapy, sand tray therapy, play therapy, and humor.
