PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

I have been practicing psychotherapy for 29 years. I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children/adolescents. I have been providing supervision, trainings and clinical consultation in a variety of schools and private settings since 1985.

I received my B.A. from Stanford in 1978 and my M.A. from Santa Clara in 1987. I was an Adjunct Professor at Santa Clara  teaching MFT Trainees in Practicum.

In 2010 I completed the Mindfulness Based Stress  Reduction Practicum at El Camino Hospital with Bob Stahl Phd. I have been incorporating this work and philosophy into my clinical work and have begun teaching MBSR to individuals and groups.
