Dr. Kleis is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He is in private practice and has an office on Stanford Campus. He supervises Child Psychiatry Fellows at the Stanford University Department of Psychiatry.

Treatment

Medication Management: These are 20-25 minute meetings following an evaluation where I prescribe medication

Individual Therapy: These are 45 minute sessions following an evaluation where individual treatment is recommended. Medication treatment may be combined with individual therapy. The treatment depends on the evaluation and may include the following types of therapy:

  1. play
  2. cognitive-behavioral
  3. supportive
  4. psychodynamically-oriented
  5. skill-building
  6. behavioral

 

Family Therapy and Parent Training: these are 45 – 75 minute meetings to work with the whole family, subsets of the family, or with parents working on parenting skills

 

School Consultations: This service can be provided as part of the treatment plan. Please see Consultation Services.
