The Law Foundation, a non-profit agency, provides free legal services to Silicon Valley individuals in need. Our services are available through five programs:

  • Health Legal Services
  • Fair Housing Law Project
  • Legal Advocates for Children & Youth (LACY)
  • Mental Health Advocacy Project
  • Public Interest Law Firm

Our 28 attorneys and 22 staff members serve thousands of clients every year.

Public Interest Law Firm (PILF)
Public Interest Law Firm (PILF) uses impact litigation and advocacy to protect the human rights of individuals and groups in Silicon Valley who face barriers to adequate representation.

We provide: High quality representation in class action and impact litigation; strategic policy advocacy; alliance-building among other public interest organizations, community services agencies and clients; and educational workshops and technical assistance for community groups.
