Barbara Shufro is an attorney representing parents and guardians of students with disabilities, in education matters.

Barbara enjoys helping parents be effective advocates for their children’s educational program, understands the many challenges that students with disabilities and their families face every day, and is committed to improving results and outcomes for students with disabilities and their families, by providing effective, knowledgeable, practical advice and representation.

From 2014-2016, Barbara served clients of the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, Legal Advocates for Children and Youth (LACY). She continues to represent clients in private practice in all aspects of Special Education Law. Earlier in her career, Barbara was a partner and group manager at a large national law firm and recognized on the Silicon Valley Best Lawyers Premier list. Barbara was also a clinical fellow at Georgetown University Law Center in the areas of civil rights and disability law and completed a U.S. District Court clerkship in a federal trial court.
