​Special education law is an area of the law in which very few attorneys practice with any degree of regularity. The field is a tapestry of federal laws (The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, The Americans with Disabilities Act), state laws, federal regulations (a separate set under each federal law) and state regulations.

During this meeting we will discuss your child’s disability, your history with the school district, and attempt to identify any areas of need. We will discuss what steps can be taken to determine if your child is receiving a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment.
