My Friends – A Pediatric Day Healthcare Center

At My Friends, children are cared for in a safe, cheerful and nurturing daycare environment designed just for them. They can spend a few hours or all day with other children, all under the care of fully licensed and experienced pediatric nurses. We can care for children when homecare nurses are unavailable or when family caregivers need a break. School-age children can be bused directly from school to My Friends Daycare. My Friends is eligible for both state and federally funded programs. We have experts on staff to answer questions about eligibility and can help with Medi-Cal, EPSDT and Regional Center qualifications.

Services

We offer a cheerful and safe place for your child. In addition to our years of nursing experience caring for medically fragile and special needs children, we offer activities which are designed to be enjoyed by children of all ability levels. Licensed nurses, trained Personal Care Attendants and Activity Leaders provide MD-ordered care and activities.

Our nurses are trained in providing tube feedings, tracheostomy care, suctioning, medication administration, respiratory treatments and many other aspects of nursing care, as ordered by each child’s MD.
