Since 2011, Positive Pathways has provided unique and individualized programs utilizing the science of Applied Behavior Analysis for children of varying ages and abilities. We are a family-owned and family-centered practice serving San Francisco, Contra Costa, and Alameda counties in California. Our compassionate, experienced staff use applied behavior analysis (ABA) to help your child learn, grow, and thrive.

Getting Help for Kids with Autism and Developmental Disabilities
Positive Pathways works with children and their families in several effective ways to help develop important social skills and adaptive behaviors to make their integration into society more successful.

We believe that your child’s treatment should be as naturalistic and engaging as possible. Therefore, we use naturalistic and play-based ABA employing elements of Pivotal Response Training (PRT) and the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). Our programs concentrate on child-led activities, with a focus on improving communication abilities, social skills, and reducing negative behavior by teaching positive replacement behaviors.

Social Skills Therapy

Integrated Adventure Social Skill Groups
Groups for children on the autism spectrum and those who need to improve their social skills to improve peer relationships. Our groups use the principles of ABA and combine Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to teach crucial social skills, all within the community! “
