San Andreas Regional Center is a community-based California state-funded program designed to serve persons with a developmental disability, as required by the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act.

The Center is a private, nonprofit corporation under contract for provision of services through the State Department of Developmental Services.

Services include: parent information, referral, respite care, independent living skills training, behavioral intervention, crisis intervention, early intervention, day programs, employment support, residential placement, public benefits info/referral

San Andreas Regional Center serves the four-county area of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz.

Eligibility and intake assessment for Regional Center services are governed by the Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Act (Welfare and Institutions Code sections 4512, 4642-4644) and the California Code of Regulations, title 17, chapter 3, subchapter 1, sections 54000 through 54010.
