Supporting children with special and diverse learning needs in Lafayette, California

Who We Are and What We Do

SEED provides a wide range of support and resources to families of children with special and diverse learning needs, as well as training programs for educators who work with these children.  The programs we fund include recess facilitation, after school social skills play groups, educational seminars, support groups and socials for parents and teacher training.

SEED is grateful to all the individuals, corporations, foundations and trusts who make charitable contributions that make these important programs possible.

SEED was founded in 2006, became a legal entity in 2008 and received non-profit status in January 2010.

SEED High School was created for parents of high school students with learning differences. Our goal is to better connect our high school-aged community with resources, parent education, and support for the high school years and beyond.

The high school years are a vital time for families to plan for college, future living, and navigating independence. SEED HS hopes to offer informative programs to further empower this community.  We strive to work collaboratively with the Acalanes Union High School District in supporting students with learning differences and their families.
