CAMP WOW: A Social and Emotional Skills Therapeutic Day Camp for ages 6-10
FACILITATORS: Sasha Torres, BCBA and Heather Batalden, LPCC, NCC

Camp WOW is now enrolling campers ages 6-10 years of age. Camp WOW participants may experience mild to moderate challenges with social, emotional, sensory and behavioral skills in group environments. Camp WOW participants often struggle to find group opportunities to practice foundational social and emotional regulation skills with trained behaviorists and mental health staff who can provide a supportive and regulated learning environment.
As principals in their camping experience, participants will have both structured, semi-structured and autonomous opportunities to learn and play collaboratively with peers where strengths as well as challenges will be accepted and nurtured in a play-based model.
