Do you think about what your child with special needs will do after they leave school? Has your student been given enough opportunities while in school to develop their self-esteem and self-determination?
A successful transition to adult life does not happen by accident. Research indicates that students who are deeply involved in the planning, writing and implementation of their IEPs are more likely to have successful adult life outcomes.
This training will give you the information you need to get your student started leading their IEP meetings. Now that you have learned how to support your child so their voice is heard, encourage them to join us on April 6, 2023, so they can learn how to lead their own IEP meeting!
