May 15, 2024 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

As parents of adults with disabilities age, it’s hard not to think about what happens to our loved ones when we’re gone.

Please join Trudy Marsh Grable, Credentialed Person Centered Thinking & Planning Consultant and wise parent who has walked the walk and talked the talk, as she shares her thoughts as a parent of someone with a disability:

  • In my twenties and thirties: “I just can’t die.”
  • In my forties: “Maybe I should get life insurance.”
  • In my fifties: “I better set up a trust, just in case.”
  • In my sixties and beyond: “I know I’m going to die someday, what will happen to my child when I do?”

Trudy will give a short presentation and then facilitate a discussion about how to prepare yourself and your loved one for the inevitable.

This webinar will provide live Spanish interpretation.

This is a Connections California event, a project of Parents Helping Parents – Silicon Valley. Connections California is sponsored in part by the San Andreas Regional Center and the California Department of Developmental Services.
