How is Self-Determination a suitable model for my loved one?
Self-Determination is a new model for Regional Center to provide services. We know that you, as a parent, would like to learn more about if this new system works and what the challenges and benefits are. For this reason, PHP has invited some parents whose children are already in self-determination to share their experiences with you.
These are some of the questions that will be addressed:
-How long was the process?
-How did you create the plan?
-Are person-centered services working?
-Did you work with an Independent Facilitator?
-Was it easy to find providers under the Self- Determination model?
-And many more
This event will be simultaneously translated into Spanish and Vietnamese
